Location: Florida
Home town of Bokeelia, Florida – traveling up and down the east coast this month
The Now:
- We were able to volunteer at the VOX Conference, which is a day and a half conference for youth. Almost 300 students attended.
- We have joined the Altar Prayer Ministry at CLF (our home church).
- We were reunited with our dear friends, the Ulmers, who have returned to the states after their 4 year missionary assignment in Japan. It was a sweet time of testimony and prayer. Check out their hearts and mission and consider partnering with them.
- Tim served at packing event with Hope Fleet where they packed over 600 hygiene kits destined for those in need in the Caribbean.
- Tim will be flying up to Annapolis, Maryland October 11th for the Annapolis Sailboat Show (the largest sailboat show in the world). There, he will be serving at a vender booth with Hope Fleet and Maritime Ministries. This will be an awesome opportunity to share the Gospel with thousands of people as well as share the vision and mission of these ministries.
- We will be traveling as a family to Elizabeth City, NC to attend the Kings Fleet Conference later this month. This is an amazing event where Christian maritime (boat) ministries gather from all around the world to worship, fellowship, testify and encourage one another.
- We will take a pitstop to our old stomping grounds in SC to fellowship with our church family there.
Our Prayer Requests:
- Traveling Mercies:
- Tim’s safety/covering as he travels and divine appointments at the boat show.
- Our safety/covering as we travel to the Kings Fleet Conference, divine appointments, and direction as we continue to pursue doors the Lord is opening.
- Provision for the cost of these trips.
- Balance as we continue to navigate work/school schedules and still pour into our community here.
Praise Reports:
- Evelyn is crushing it at cross country. She took 3rd overall with a time of 17:20 in her last meet
- Evy and Izy attended their first youth conference (VOX 2023)
- Jessi is thriving in kindergarten, has made many friends, and is growing leaps and bounds
- Our school, Christian Life Academy, was approved for rezoning and should be breaking ground for phase 1 of their campus project next month
- Body of Christ Ministries had another powerful Black Granite Retreat in Custer, SD. Oh how we wish we could have been there! We truly love and treasure our friends that were there and invite you visit their website to learn more about them: blackgraniteretreat.com.
Big News:
Tim has recently joined the staff at Hope Fleet as the Ocean Reach Coordinator. “Hope Fleet is an international boating organization empowering Caribbean communities to better care for children and families. Jesus Christ taught that it is everyone’s responsibility to do what we can to care for each other, especially the poor, widowed, and orphaned. They fulfill that responsibility and compassionately deliver hope to as many as they are able by sailing essential supplies and providing services to those who need it most.” learn more at www.hopefleet.org.
This is a volunteer position that will incur travel and other ministry expenses, so Tim will be seeking financial support along the way (all donations are tax deductible). We are excited to link arms with this ministry and make an even bigger impact on the lives of those we serve.
